Cheers & Jeers: The Closer Revenge from the Nerd!

Curtis Remedy Cheers to Curtis Remedy for showing that his career continues to be going strong. Want more Cheers & Jeers? Sign up for TV Guide Magazine. Nearly 3 decades after his breakout role as Booger in Revenge from the Brainiacs, the ubiquitous character actor is more busy than ever before. Additionally to his cameo within the new large-screen comedy Bucky Larson: Born to become a Star, he butted heads with Emmy champion Kyra Sedgwick as Peter Goldman, the sanctimonious attorney who literally switched his campaign against Chief Brenda Leigh Manley right into a federal situation within the Closer's summer time finale. Remedy has masterfully toggled backwards and forwards between comic turns like his computer guy on Curb Your Enthusiasm the 2009 season and dramatic roles like Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun in Ray. Full disclosure: Younger crowd performed a sleazeball journalist named Ken Fretts, partly meant like a slam at this writer, with an episode of 3rd Rock in the Sun. I'd hold that against him, but as Armstrong's Miles noted so memorably in Dangerous Business, "Every occasionally, you've gotta say, 'What the f---.'"
