Seth Rogen developing spy comedy at Disney

RogenSeth Rogen is joining "The B Team," developing like a producer on Disney's spy comedy by having an eye towards starring.Disney didn't have comment concerning the project, presently within the development stage. Project's dedicated to a high secret agent being kidnapped, departing his tech support and scientists to save him.Disney setup the project 3 years ago at Charles Segars' Sparkler Entertainment after purchasing a pitch in the scripting team of Derek Guiley and David Schneiderman (Variety, This summer 11, 2008). Segars was drawn on because the producer with Ilan Breil, manager from the scribes, professional creating.Rogen created and starred in Summit's "50/50," that was nommed for any Spirit Award as well as feature along with a Golden Globe within the comedy/musical category. He's professional created several movies he starred in -- "The Eco-friendly Hornet," "Superbad," "Pineapple Express," "Knocked Up" and "Funny People."Rogen is going to be seen next in Paramount's mother-boy road-trip comedy "My Mother's Curse" opposite Barbra Streisand. He's professional creating "Curse."Segars received "story by" credit on "National Treasure" and professional created that pic and it is follow up.Rogen is repped by UTA and Principal.
